I did my first Tech-Talk at work

I just delivered my first ever Tech Talk at work, today!!🎊

I've always wanted to do one, but never felt like I had anything worthy to share 😔

But coincidentally, as part of my Software Engineering self-study curriculum, I happened to be (re)learning key topics, like Distributed Systems, and also teaching what I learn, on my blog!

After publishing my first blog post on Distributed Systems this Monday, I had it peer-reviewed by a colleague at work.

Then I challenged myself to do my first ever Tech Talk on the post, this Thursday (today).

And I did it!

This is a big deal for me, as I've now officially merged two of my favourite things: Public Speaking and Software Engineering ❤️

🎯Lesson: After the Tech Talk, colleagues reached out to me saying that they enjoyed the talk, and some learned something new, asking me to do another talk!

There I was thinking I didn't have anything valuable to share.
