The Pro-bono Tech Lead

Uh oh! That escalated quickly.

The pro-bono Software Engineer is now a pro-bono Tech Lead 🤯

I now lead a team of 4 developers.

As you know, in my spare time, I've been volunteering as a software engineer on a super-early-stage startup with some friends in Kenya🇰🇪 and Uganda🇺🇬

Last week, the tech team decided that we wanted someone to assume technical leadership, and they chose me!

This is exciting, as I'll still be writing code, but I ALSO get to exercise my technical leadership skills, which is a great growth opportunity for me!

The goal is to finally get the platform feature-complete before we launch soon!
